February Favourites

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Everyone loves a good favourites post, amirite? I love having a nosey at what other people are loving. It’s a great place to find inspiration especially if you’re obsessed with skincare, beauty and useless but cute lifestyle crap, like me.

Without further ado, here’s my Feb favourites.

IT Cosmetics ‘Your Skin But Better’ CC Cream.

Unsurprising to people who know me, but this is the foundation I’ve reached for the most. It’s nothing new to my routine, I’ve used it every day (more or less) since 2017 thanks to Anna Newton (The Anna Edit). It’s lightweight with medium coverage and makes my skin appear much more hydrated and glowy than it actually is. I love it now and I’ll most likely love it next month too so you can expect to see this crop up in forth coming favourites lists.

Nars Laguna Bronzer.

Winter is a hard season for skin. There’s less sun, the weather is cold and harsh and natural tan is nye on non-existent if you live in the UK, at least. So when Winter strikes, I rely heavily on bronzer to make me look less like a White Walker from Game of Thrones. Nars Laguna is my go-to at the moment. Its pigment is a deep brown which is perfect for adding a flush of life back into my pale ginger skin.

Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil In ‘Rowdy.’

Nude lipsticks are my makeup downfall, pretty much every single lipstick I own is nude with the exception of one red and one berry tone. What can I say, I have a type. But, this is a lipstick unlike one I’ve ever had before. The formula is to die for, matte but not drying (score) and the pencil format makes it super easy to apply. I think after this, I’ll find it hard to return to bullet style lipsticks.

MADE Mini Square Hoop Earrings.

I’ve already professed my love for these earrings over on Instagram but I love them so much, I think they deserve a second mention. I have really sensitive skin and I’m allergic to nickel so I find it really difficult to find earrings which won’t irritate my ears and break the bank until MADE came along and made everything better. They’re made from sustainable and ethically sourced materials too. Fashion-forward and ecological, what more do you want?

IGK ‘Beach Club’ Texturising Hair Spray

I never used to be one for hair products, my hair used to be washed, dried and occasionally curled or straightened. But recently, I’ve had my hair cut and restyled massively (for me, anyway) and I’ve really been getting into taking the time to style it. I’ve invested in some hair products from the recommendation of my pal Katie Meehan and girl, I’m shook. This spray was among the mini hair haul and I can’t get enough, It keeps that “second-day hair” style without making it look greasy and dirty which is amaze! I even let my mum use it, who has really thin, fine hair, and it made her hair appear fuller and volumised. Fab!

Diptyque ‘Figuier’ Candle

Possibly one of the most boujee candles I’ve ever bought but I’m not even mad about it. It smells phenomenal and has an amazing burn even though it’s a little wonky. I will most definitely be keeping the jar to keep makeup brushes in when it burns out because it was pricey and I like to get my money’s worth.
